Eldoret Hospital, in conjunction with the Lions Club and the Rotary Club held a successful Annual Eye Camp from Friday 12th March 2010 to Sunday 14th March 2010 at the Eldoret Hospital.
Tremendous response was received from people from all walks of life who came from all parts of Western Kenya and the Rift Valley. A total of 332 people having eye ailments were screened by a team of experts, out of which 70 people were positively identified as having Cataracts. All the 70 were provided free Cataract surgeries by a team of specialist Ophthalmologists based at the Eldoret Hospital.
We sincerely convey our thanks to all the sponsors and more so to the convener of the Eye Camp, Dr. P. V. Lodhia, and the entire staff of Eldoret Hospital for providing exceptional care to all the patients during their stay at the Hospital.
